Concept Studio

A concept is a short self-playing demo conversation: a realistic back-and-forth between a business and a customer that plays out on a phone, the way it would over RCS. Use one to show a prospect what rich business messaging could do for their business, before any agent is built or any account is set up.

Point Anychat at a prospect's website and it writes a tailored demo conversation. Adjust it, publish it to a shareable link, and, when they are sold, turn the same concept into a working agent.

Concepts live at the top level of the console beside Agents. A concept needs no agent to exist, so you can spin one up for any prospect without creating an agent for them.

Why concepts exist

Rich messaging is hard to describe and easy to show. A concept is the showing: a believable conversation, branded for the prospect, auto-playing in a phone frame, that makes the value obvious in fifteen seconds. It is a pre-sales tool, and the natural first step before someone becomes a customer.

The lifecycle

A concept moves through four steps, and you can stop at any of them. Many concepts are only ever used as a quick visual and never published.

  1. Generate. Describe the business, usually with its website, and Anychat writes a demo conversation grounded in the real brand and products.
  2. Refine. Adjust the conversation by hand or by asking in plain language.
  3. Publish. Push it to a stable shareable URL.
  4. Build an agent. Convert the concept into a configured agent that does what the demo showed.

Generate from a website

Give Anychat a prospect's website address. It reads the site, learns the company and what they offer, and authors a realistic conversation: a branded greeting, a few back-and-forth turns, a product card or two, and a next step such as booking a call.

Steer what the demo shows with a one-line use case, such as "a prospect books a consultation over text".

Generation takes a few moments, and the concept appears in your list when it is ready.

Refine it

Shape a concept on its edit page two ways, mixing freely between them.

Edit the conversation directly. Change any turn, whether the agent or the customer is speaking. Reword a message, add or remove a step, reorder steps, or swap a product card or image. A live preview plays the conversation as you go.

Ask for changes in plain language. Type an instruction such as change the customer's name to Bob and Anychat's assistant rewrites the concept, changing only what you asked and leaving the rest alone. Keep iterating until it is right.

Branding

Brand details flow into the host page and into the phone itself, so the demo looks like it belongs to the prospect.

Logo. Upload an image or paste a URL in the editor's branding row. It appears in the page header and as the sender's avatar in the chat, circle-cropped the way RCS presents a real business's logo. A square image works best.

Brand color. Pick it with the color swatch or type a hex value. Once a logo is set, the editor offers a one-click Use logo colour suggestion extracted from the logo. The color drives the page accent and the chat styling.

Playback

Playback speed, in the same row, runs from 0.5× for reading along to 2× for a brisker demo. It applies in the editor preview, the published page, and exported videos. The default of 1× matches the rhythm of a real chat.

Phone size sets how large the phone renders on the published page, from 0.85× to 1.3× of its natural size. The page always shrinks the phone to fit a small window, so sizes above 1× take effect when the viewer's screen has room. Phone size affects only the hosted page.

Publish

Publishing hosts the concept at a stable, unguessable link you can drop into an email or a deck. The page plays the conversation once and offers a Replay button, with nothing to install.

The live page is a snapshot of the draft at the moment you publish. Keep editing and the editor flags that the live page is out of date. Republish pushes the latest saved draft to the same URL, and changes take effect immediately.

Unpublish takes a page back down, and anyone opening the link afterwards sees a "no longer available" notice. The URL stays reserved for the concept, so publishing again brings it back at the same address.

Your branding on concept pages

Workspace · Branding holds your organization's default branding for published concept pages: company name, brand color, logo, favicon, and an optional footer. New concepts pick these up at generation time, and publishing fills any gaps the concept's own editor left blank. A value set in the concept editor wins over the workspace default.

Branding is applied when a page is published. Pages that are already live keep their look until you republish them, and the Branding page lists your published concepts with a Republish button so you can apply a change everywhere.

By default, published pages carry Anychat's favicon and a "Powered by Anychat" footer line. The whitelabel add-on removes that attribution, so the page shows your favicon and footer and no Anychat name in the visible chrome. The one line that stays is the "an illustrative concept, not a live agent" disclaimer. Whitelabel is a paid add-on; contact your Anychat representative to enable it.

Export a video

For places a live page cannot go, such as a hero video on a marketing site, an email, or a slide, the Marketing video row renders a flow of your choice as a downloadable video of the conversation playing in the phone, chrome and all: typing indicator, sender logo, verified badge, and message timing. When the concept has more than one flow, pick which to render, then click Export.

Rendering records the conversation at a third of its speed so that motion stays smooth, so it takes about three times the flow's length: a 30-second flow takes about a minute and a half. The row shows a progress bar and the time left, then offers Download links for an .mp4 and a .mov, plus a copy button for the video's stable hosted URL. Re-exporting after edits replaces the video, since each concept keeps one video at a time.

Turn a concept into an agent

When a prospect likes the demo, build an agent from the concept. Anychat sets up a real agent configured to match: the same identity and Things, a starting Playbook chosen from the use case, Knowledge seeded from their website, and the concept's opening line as the agent's greeting. You land in the new agent, ready to connect a channel.

The concept's conversation becomes the specification the real agent is tuned against.

From the command line

The anychat CLI authors concepts as version-controlled documents, or creates a batch at once.

anychat concepts list
anychat concepts create --input concept.yaml --publish
anychat concepts update <id> --input concept.yaml
anychat concepts publish <id>
anychat concepts unpublish <id>

The input document is YAML or JSON with the same fields Concept Studio edits: title, channel, hostBranding for company name, logo, brand color, hero copy and facts, and scripts, one entry per flow, each with the emulator steps the page plays back.

How concepts relate to agents

A concept is a demo: canned, illustrative, and pre-sales. It shows what is possible. An agent holds real conversations, qualifies leads, and books calls.

Generate concepts freely during the sales process, then build an agent from the one that wins.
