Anychat overview

Anychat is the agent framework for business messaging. You build an agent that converses with your customers on the rich messaging channels they already use, RCS, Apple Messages for Business, and WhatsApp, with cards, carousels, suggested replies, and verified-brand experiences. When a rich channel is not available, Anychat falls back to SMS, so the conversation still gets through.

You describe the agent and Anychat runs it: choosing what to do next, writing each reply, rendering it in whatever features the person's channel supports, and keeping a record of every turn.

What you build

An agent is the unit you build and operate. It is four things:

Part What it is
Behavior The document you write: identity, personality, guardrails, rules, goals, and a Playbook for each kind of situation.
Knowledge What the agent knows: Sources, Facts, Things, Media, and business info.
Capabilities What it can do beyond talking: book calls, remember people, alert your team, call your systems.
Channels Where it speaks.

You configure all of it in the console, and everything the console does is available through the Agent API.

What an agent does

Answers. Someone messages the agent on a connected channel. The agent picks the Playbook that fits, answers from Knowledge, acts through the capabilities that Playbook uses, and replies in the shapes that channel renders.

Reaches out. Outreach is how the agent starts a conversation: to one person, to every new row on a linked sheet, or to a list you pick as a campaign. Outreach sends over RCS today. WhatsApp requires Meta-approved templates, which are not yet available, and the other channels answer rather than start.

Books. With Scheduling switched on, the agent offers real availability and books calls with your representatives, in the person's time zone.

Remembers. With People switched on, the agent keeps one record per person and, when you allow it, writes back what it learns.

Before anyone real sees it

Every agent is checked before it is launched. Testing covers how: the sandbox, where a persona talks to the real agent and nothing leaves the platform; Tests, the conversations your agent must keep handling correctly; and early access, a real phone before the public.

Sandbox is where that happens. Reads are real, writes are captured and shown rather than performed, and nothing reaches a phone, a calendar, or a person.

Before the sale

Concept Studio generates a self-playing demo conversation from a prospect's website, branded for them, that you publish as a shareable link. When they say yes, the same concept builds a real agent. It needs no agent and no account setup to try.

Getting an account

Anychat workspaces are created by Anychat. Contact your Anychat representative, or sales@anychat.ai, to have one set up, and an owner in an existing workspace can add you as a member. See Workspaces and access.
